Eric Le Tixerant patented ventral ergonomic girths combine two essential components – high tech fabric and an ergonomic pad.
 
The fabric designed by the GIBAUD laboratory has a very high capacity for elongation and support. The fabric conforms naturally to the ventral anatomy of the horse.
 
The ergonomic pad which contacts the sternum is made of natural non slip alveolar rubber. Thanks to its cross inner shape, this pad fits perfectly to the horse's shape. This concept enables a lot higher elasticity than other girths, without the problem of pulling over the saddle. Thanks to an increased mobility of the rib cage and of its musculature, respiratory capacity and locomotor function improvements are experienced. With a greater amplitude of forelimb strides and improved transmission of the limb propulsion force, the consequence is a reduction of repeated locomotor problems and improved performance.
